Duvet covers

Ashelby International supplies duvet covers in cotton, poly-cotton and linen blends across twin, queen and king sizes, for retail and hospitality programmes.

Our duvet covers run 180 to 500 thread count at fabric weights of 130 to 200 GSM. The duvet cover is a protective layer as much as a decorative one -- it takes the soil and laundering that would otherwise reach the insert, so wash durability and dimensional stability matter as much as appearance. Closure type, fabric weight and stitch quality at the seams are what determine whether a cover survives repeated commercial laundering.

Weight selection follows use. Around 130 to 150 GSM gives a lighter, more fluid cover suited to warm climates and summer programmes; 170 to 200 GSM produces a more substantial hand with better opacity over a coloured or patterned insert. Linen blends add texture and improved thermal regulation, with the characteristic relaxed appearance that some retail positions specifically seek.

We produce to buyer design, including printed, dyed and woven-pattern programmes, with matching pillow covers where a coordinated set is required.
